Viberate is moving toward an AI-first product strategy, starting with the launch of an official MCP server that connects its music data to AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Grok.
The new connector allows users to access Viberate’s data through natural-language requests. Instead of relying only on dashboards or building a direct API integration, music professionals can ask an AI assistant to retrieve relevant information and use it in tasks such as artist research, performance comparisons, lineup planning, marketing analysis, and AI-based predictions.
The launch is the first visible part of a wider change inside the company. Viberate says it is also developing several focused AI applications within its main platform and testing them privately with selected clients.
Making Music Data Available Inside AI Assistants
The MCP server gives compatible AI systems a structured way to communicate with Viberate’s data tools.
Once the connector is installed and authorized, the user can ask questions in plain language. The AI assistant can identify which available tools are relevant, request the required information, and use it when preparing an answer.
A music professional could ask the assistant to compare artists, summarize recent performance signals, examine audience markets, suggest possible lineup combinations, or organize data for a campaign brief.
This differs from asking a general AI model a question without an external data connection.
An AI assistant working on its own may rely on information contained in its training data, public online sources, or statistics manually supplied by the user. Through the MCP connection, it can request structured music data directly from Viberate when completing the task.

The Model Context Protocol is a standard that helps AI systems connect with external tools and information sources.
It is often compared to USB-C because it provides a common connection method. Instead of building a separate integration for every AI platform, a data provider can operate an MCP server that compatible assistants can use.

“We strongly believe that the entire business intelligence industry will sooner or later shift to becoming a data layer for AI agents to read and process,” Veber said.
In this model, the data provider continues to collect, structure, and maintain the information, while the AI assistant becomes one of the main interfaces through which users work with it.
Veber said AI systems depend on the quality of the underlying data available to them. A capable model can summarize and interpret information, but weak or incomplete input limits the reliability of its output.
Connecting AI assistants to a specialized music dataset is intended to give users a stronger basis for industry-specific research.
According to Viberate, large language models can also combine metrics in ways that may not be immediately obvious to a person reviewing individual dashboard sections.
A Third Way To Access Viberate
Before the MCP server, users mainly accessed Viberate through its analytics platform or API.
The main platform provides a visual environment for researching music data through dashboards, charts, filters, and rankings.
The API serves developers, companies, and technical teams that want to integrate Viberate data into their own systems or products.
The MCP server introduces a third route, designed around interaction with an AI assistant.
The three options address different needs and are likely to exist alongside one another.
Dashboards remain useful for visual monitoring and direct exploration. APIs remain suited to automated systems and custom integrations. MCP provides an alternative for professionals who prefer to describe a task in natural language.
Practical Applications Across The Music Industry
The new connector can support a range of professional workflows.

A free tier gives users basic access, while the paid plan provides more than 20 advanced tools for more detailed tasks and wider data access.
For the first three months after the launch, the company is offering a 50% founding discount on the paid plan.
Users who subscribe during that period can retain the reduced rate indefinitely, provided that the subscription remains active.

The MCP server is only one part of Viberate’s AI plans.

The difference is mainly where the AI experience takes place.
